Jordi Rosich, jeweler and designer of Roosik & Co, immediately came up with several ideas. Finally it was decided to design a golden bicycle with heptagon-shaped wheels. The heptagon is the geometric shape with which he feels most identified, as it is a clean and minimalist shape, like his jewelry.
Also, what convinced him at the same time to design this piece with geometric wheels is that heptagons are loaded with good luck: they have 7 sides and 7 is the magic number par excellence. These jewels are worth traveling many miles on magical and lucky wheels, right?
The bicycles are hand-crafted in the Roosik & Co workshop. They are offered in white gold, rose gold and yellow gold , so you can customize your jewelry with the color you feel most identified with. There is also the possibility of creating it in white gold and with diamonds of triple excellence , that is to say, able to reflect 99% of the light that penetrates it. You will be the brightest and brightest cyclist in town!
Profits from the sale of each bike will be donated to Qhubeka Charity . Are you up for a spin on these golden bikes?
Qhubeka is a South African non-profit organization that donates bicycles as part of World Bicycle Relief's charity program in South Africa.
For many people bicycles are not just means of transport, they are tools that help them travel faster and further.
This means they can get where they need to go and do difficult things that would be impossible without transportation: get supplies like water and food, travel to school or work, visit a clinic, or seek emergency help after a disaster .
" A bicycle moves lives "
Qhubeka, with its fundraising programs has managed to supply more than 90,000 bicycles. Many people now enjoy an easier life.
For our part, we couldn't be happier to participate in this initiative.
These bikes have been designed and created with great care and exclusively for Qhubeka, you will only find them in the physical store of Roosik & Co , in Girona, and in the online store.
