Woman in Jewelry: We explore how jewelry brings a unique dimension to women

, by Aina Costa, 3 min reading time

At Roosik & Co we see every day how jewelery not only beautifies women, but also represents a rich combination of art, design, personal expression, history and emotion. In fact, this is why we appreciate jewelry so much, for its complexity and for its meaning!

When you come to the store, take the pieces and look in the mirror, there is something magical about your gaze. This is precisely what fills us with our work and what has awakened our interest at the same time as carrying out this creative project called: "Woman in Joy".

the project

With the photographic project "Woman in Jewelry" we explore how jewelry, understood as a work of art and design object, can beautify a woman not only on an aesthetic level, but also in terms of personal expression, confidence and empowerment.

To carry it out we have had the help of 15 women, who have been selected from among the 33 participants who voluntarily took part in the casting. You are sure to want to meet them. We will reveal the protagonists shortly.

In fact, in a few days you will see two photographs of each of them, one without the jewel and the other, wearing it. In this way we will be able to observe the subtle and significant changes that occur when a woman wears a piece of Roosik&Co jewelry, which is, in fact, a wearable work of art in a small format.

So, with "Woman in Jewel" we will see if, beyond the tangible effects - as the jewel brings light to the face -, the intangible ones are highlighted. If by showing off an artistic work, the woman raises her confidence and presence and this expands externally adding a new dimension to her natural beauty. And you, do you notice it when you wear a piece of jewelry? Do you appreciate the nuances?

All the people who have participated in this project have done so voluntarily. They are women, like you, like us, to whom we have asked only three requirements: naturalness, photogenicity and love for designer jewelry.

The jewel

We chose the Helix earrings for this project, as it is a piece that enjoys a high artistic and design component.

We have to tell you that at Roosik&Co we are in a time of change. We are looking for new ways to improve ourselves, to grow and to push our limits. And these earrings are the result of this vital moment.

Jordi Rosich has designed them based on the concept of a geometric spiral and you will see that they also have volume. If you want to know more about the reason for this design and the historical symbology of the spiral, we will explain it to you in this blog article: Helix earrings, a spiral of change.
