If you're a lover of cinema and jewellery, you certainly didn't miss one of the most media and televised events this Sunday: the XIV Gaudí Awards of the Catalan Film Academy.
In fact, the whole Roosik & Co team, we were expectantly in front of the screen, waiting for the wonderful actress Vicenta N'Dongo to make an appearance with our golden heptagons.
And when we saw her, we found her more radiant than we imagined. She wore a spectacular red Marta Martí dress, a Malau bag and our Hepta Drop earrings .
The heptagons moved with every gesture and gave a lot of light to his face. In addition, they stood out very much with her skin tone and her curls, which she had gathered on one side.
Vicenta wore two different looks during the night. One during the Gala and the other to present the "Special Audience Award": a jacket in brown, maroon and shiny tones. Both sets went perfectly with the yellow gold and pink and green tourmaline earrings.
How did Roosik & Co get to the Gaudí Awards?
It has been 7 consecutive years that the Academy of Cinema in Catalan has trusted the JORGC , the Official College of Jewellers, Goldsmiths, Watchmakers and Gemmologists of Catalonia, to dress actors and actresses, directors, presenters, because shine radiantly during the event.
JORGC selected Roosik & Co's Hepta Drop earrings "for their unconventional, original and bold design, and for being a faithful expression of Roosik & Co's DNA".
It is worth saying that all the pieces of jewelery seen at the party were designed and made in Catalonia. Núria Serret, president of the JORGC, explains that "a recognized feature of Catalan jewelery is its creativity and constant reinvention; the Spanish industry speaks of the Catalan collections as the most avant-garde in Spain" .
Judit Mascó and Roosik & Co
It is the second year that the JORGC and the Gaudí Awards have selected one of our pieces to show at this festival of cinema in Catalan.
7 years ago, it was the Catalan model J udit Mascó who wore a spectacular ring by Roosik & Co, the Prominence jewel , with a fabulous imperial topaz in the center, tsavorites and sapphires.
The Hepta Drop earrings: design and movement
In the Hepta Drop earrings , Jordi Rosich decided to create a cheerful, dynamic and suggestive composition.
On the one hand, a movable heptagon attached to a green tourmaline thanks to a small gold strip that allows it freedom of movement. On the other, a thin chain hangs from the snap-on fence and holds a pink tourmaline (a gem that, amusingly, appears and disappears inside the heptagon).
A wonderful combination, capable of spreading its light, even to movie stars ;)
