Pendants with initials or with diamonds? Layering!

, by Arnau Sorribes, 4 min reading time

Have you heard of layering ? In fashion and jewelry, layering is the art of arranging and overlapping different pieces of clothing or jewelry. That is, how to combine different pendants at once, layer by layer, so that this new order of elements is visually appealing.

Apart from taking advantage of layering to express our style and personality, it's also a good excuse to give another look to the pieces we already have. Try combining two or more pieces of jewelry from the same family and you'll feel like you're wearing a new piece. If we have rings, pendants, bracelets, that you like, it is a shame that they are forgotten at your jewelers.
Here we give you some ideas on how to apply layering in jewelry.

Layering 1. Pendants with diamonds

If you have initial pendants, they look perfect with a necklace that contains a solitaire diamond. The power of the queen of gems, the diamond, illuminates and complements pieces that have such symbolic and personal value as the pendant with the letters of our name or our children.
In this case, the pendants with initials with diamonds and in white gold is worn together with a Heptasik Diamond pendant , also in white gold, and with a small brilliant of 0.05 carats wrapped in a gold heptagon.

Here you can see the entire selection of: Jewelry with initials

Layering 2. Gold pendants and precious stones

There are pendants that we never take off because they combine with everything, they are part of us. If one day we want to vary them slightly without doing without them, we can add another piece that brings beauty or color. For example, we can add a pendant with a pink, green, blue, yellow, violet gemstone...

To the necklace with the heptagon motif, in yellow gold, we have added another layer: a pendant with a natural yellow sapphire. do you like

Take a look at the pendants with natural gemstones called “Leaf”, you will find them in yellow, rose and white gold, and with natural gems of all colors: green and pink spinels, red, pink or green garnets, blue sapphires or yellow... Also the "Glow", with topaz, rose quartz, peridot and citrine. You will find them here: Pendants .

The stones bring freshness and naturalness to our style. In addition, each of them has a unique meaning and properties that are worth knowing. You can learn a little more about them in theGems section

Layering 3. Gold rings

Do you dare to wear different colors of gold at the same time? A great way to start combining rose gold, yellow gold and white gold is to practice layering with heptagonal rings. Plain or with diamonds, Jordi has created them to make a thousand and one combinations. They can be worn alone, in pairs or in threes, with or without diamonds, in rose, white or yellow gold. What would be your proposal?

We confess to you one of our favorites: "One" heptagonal white gold ring without diamonds and the "Wish" heptagonal rose gold ring with a strip of 5 diamonds. And we also like the charm of the yellow heptagonal ring with the white heptagonal ring, without diamonds:

Heptagonal rings can share the limelight with your regular rings. We assure you that they look perfect. And because they are minimalist pieces, they are easy to combine with the other rings of your jeweler.

Layering 4. Engagement rings and wedding bands

One of the most common layering we see is when you combine your engagement ring with your wedding band on the same hand. Jordi has even designed a curved wedding ring so you can wear it with your solitaire. So the two pieces fit perfectly.

Finally, on Roosik & Co's Instagram you will find layering ideas, combining pendants with initials, with diamonds, with rings... There are endless combinations. Follow us if you want more inspiration on which pendants to wear or which rings and bracelets can be combined with each other.
